Board-level diagnostics fee
A £30 diagnostic charge applies to board-level assessment. This is deducted from the repair cost if you proceed with the repair. If no repair route is found, the diagnostics fee applies and no further charge is raised.

Fixed prices are not shown for HDMI connector, USB-C connector or no-power board repair. Assessment is required before costs can be confirmed.

Board-level repair warranty
Standard eligible repairs include a 12-month warranty. Liquid damage and heavily corroded boards carry no warranty. Selected board-level repairs may carry a 3-month override — confirmed at point of repair. The 3-month override does not apply automatically to all board-level work.

Common questions
Why no fixed price?
Board-level repairs vary significantly by device, fault type and parts required. A fixed public price cannot be set without assessment.
What if it can't be repaired?
If no repair route is identified after diagnostics, the £30 fee applies. No further charge. Device returned.

Is this the same as microsoldering?
